EMG Doctors Make an Impact with Bracken’s Kitchen
On August 3, 2023, Edinger Medical Group physicians spent the afternoon volunteering with Bracken’s Kitchen – a nonprofit organization with a community feeding program that creates and distributes fresh, healthy food to local people in need. Edinger physicians jumped at the opportunity to help Bracken’s Kitchen address the hunger crisis in Orange County, where Edinger’s patients reside.
EMG physicians, including Dr. Douglas McConnaughey, Dr. Stanley Arnold, Dr. Karen Don, Dr. Cambria Hembree, Dr. Janice Rivelle, and Dr. Victor Lin, traveled to Garden Grove, put on hair nets and aprons, and worked together to cook a large portion of chili that will feed numerous adults and children in the community, all with smiles on their faces.
In addition to volunteering their time, Edinger Medical Group contributed a monetary donation to enable the nonprofit group to continue in its mission to feed individuals and families in need. EMG has partnered with Founder and Culinary Director, Bill Bracken, and the Bracken’s Kitchen team for years, always proving to be an incredibly rewarding experience and successful investment.
